Die AC/DC Stromversorgungen der TPS Serie enthält eine Reihe von Modellen mit bis zu 4 Ausgängen.
Geräte mit höheren Leistungen und noch mehr Ausgängen können auf Anfrage geliefert werden.
Außerdiesen Standardmodellenwerden auch kundenspezifische Geräte geliefert.
Durch die Verwendung besonders hochwertiger Hochfrequenztransformatoren auf der Primärseite
wird ein Wirkungsgrad von ca. 80 bis 90% erreicht, wodurch eine sehr geringe Verlustwärme entsteht.
Alle Geräte mit einem Ausgang (Single Output) sind standardmäßig mit Fernfühlung (Sense) ausgerüstet.
Außerdem sind verschiedene Modelle mit Power Sharing ausgestattet.
Power Sharing
Einige der in diesem Katalog beschriebenen Geräte sind mit der Power Sharing Schaltung ausgerüstet.

Diese Geräte können (bis zu 10 Geräte) parallel und redundant betriebenwerden. Durch das Power
Sharing wird die Last auf alle Geräte gleichmäßig (±5%) verteilt. Dadurch wird eine wesentlich
längere Lebensdauer der Geräte und eine längere Überbrückungszeit erreicht. Der bei normalen,
redundant arbeitenden Systemen bei Netzausfall zu messende Drop-out wird dadurch total eliminiert.
Power Budget
Viele von den Multi-Ausgangs Geräten sind mit dem Power Budget Konzept ausgerüstet. Diese Geräte
können die volle angegebene Leistung in jede Art von Lastkombination an den Ausgängen 1 und 2 zur
Verfügung stellen. Eins dieser Geräte kann deshalb ein konventionelles Netzgerät mit höherer Leistung
ersetzen und spart den Anwender Platz, Gewicht und Kosten.

The program of "TPS" AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies consist of more than 600 different types with
up to 4 outputs in the power range from 50 to 2700Watt. Customized units on request.
With high frequency transformers on the primary side all power supplies have high efficiency
(typically 80-90 %).
All single output models offer remote sensing as standard and several models have Power Sharing
for trouble free redundant and parallel operation.

Power Sharing
Some of our most popular models have a special "full power load sharing" circuit enabling the
power supplies to be used in various redundant and/or high power applications. Up to 10 power supplies
can be used in parallel with 1 + n redundancy and they will share the load current equally (with in ±5%)
on each unit. The result is a higher MTBF and uninterrupted operation at high power levels.
The normal dropout you always detect when the main power supply in a traditionally operated redundant system
stops is totally eliminated.

Power Budget
Several of our large range multi output models feature the "Power Budget" concept which enables the
unit to deliver full rated power into any load combination between output 1 and 2. One unit can
therefore replace a conventional power supply with a higher power rating saving you of space, weight and cost.
