General

These DC-AC-Inverters are reliable, easy to use units which provide a mains independent 230V AC at a frequency of 50Hz.

According to the type, the output is sine wave or trapezoid.

All that is required is a battery, the alternator of a car or truck, a boat or solar generator or any other 12V or 24V DC source.

Input Over Voltage Protection

The input of the inverter is protected against excessive over voltages. In such cases the unit automaticly shuts down.

Soft start

Because the units are equipped with a soft start facility the output voltage will reach the rated value after a few seconds to

avoid higher inrush currents on inductive loads. This is the reason that these inverters will easily start even with loads like TV,

Stereo equipment and other units using transformers.

No Load Shut Down

Most of these units are equipped with a no load shut down. If these units are running with out a connected load, they will

be switched OFF automatically after 60 seconds to safe battery capacity. The output is available when the units are

switched OFF and ON with the built in switch.

Reverse Polarity Protection

The input is electronically protected against reverse battery connection. After correct battery connection, the units are

immediately operative without renewing a fuse etc.

If the inverter output is short circuited, the inverter will switch off, restarting automaticly, when the short circuit is removed.

Input and Output are isolated.

The units are operating with low audible noise, reliable and with high efficiency (>85%).

Over temperature Shut Down

On over temperature the units are shut down automatically. After the unit has cooled down within specified limits,

the unit will restart automatically.
