For many applications fixed voltage power supplies, which deliver a stable DC voltage with low ripple, are required. The units in this series are used for the operation of Radio transmitters, Mobile telephones, electronic control circuits, Amplifiers and many more applications. These units are manufactured in large quantities and therefore the price/performance ratio is particularly good.

With the EA-3002R the output voltage is variable by means of a potentiometer on the front panel. An illuminated meter displays either output voltage or current as selected.

An electronic limiting circuit is used in the units EA-3002R, EA-3002L and EA-3040 to keep the current below Amax. All other units are adjustable within the given range by an internal trimmer.

With the models EA-3001, EA-3002, EA-3006N, EA-3006L, EA-3042 and EA-3043 the unit automatically switches off under overload or short circuit conditions. In this case the mains input is switched off for approximately 10 seconds. The unit is then operational once more.

The models EA-3008-10, EA-3008-24, EA-3012-15, EA-3012-24, EA-3030-12, EA-3030-24 and EA-PS 3050 are provided with an automatic test circuit which, in the event of an overload or short circuit, periodically checks the output circuit, if the fault condition still exists. If the fault condition is no longer indicated then the unit will automatically switch back on.
