Function:

These high rating fixed voltage power supplies are based on the laboratory power supplies EA-PS 8000A and are available as 19"-Rack or as Bench version. The units operate on a 3-phase mains input (3 x 400V AC) which ensures a relative low basic ripple (other voltages on request). The output voltage and current can be set within the rated range by trimmers on the front panel. The output values (V&A) are indicated on separate analogue instruments class 2,5.

Load connection:
The output connection terminals are located on the rear of the unit. The incorporated Remote Sense serves to compensate the voltage loss on the load cable (max. 1V per cable).

Remote adjustment V & A
The output voltage and current can be externally set by means of an external voltage of 0...10V for V0 ...Vmax Resp. A0...Amax. The terminals for the external programming are on the rear of the unit.

Overvoltage protection (OVP)
The overvoltage protection is standard. Any value between 3V and 10% above the max. rated output voltage can be set with the trimmer on the front. In case the output voltage exceeds this value by any reason, the output voltage is sswitched off. Reset by a short power off.

Ambient conditions
During operation, at full load or constant operation, the ambient temperature may lie between 0...50°C. The storage temperature is -40°C to +70°. The max. humidity is 90% non condensing.
